I got to spend my Sunday with the wonderful Wechsler family, here to work on a Christmas classic.

The perfect guitar for today’s session happens to be the first real acoustic I ever owned, purchased by my folks, or “my grits”, as I called them then.
I recall vividly still, it hanging in a small family owned music store near the town Green in Branford Connecticut. I wanted it right away, even ...

This is by far the coolest studio I have ever been too. Not only that, the producer Eric is an unbelievable musician and human being. Such a nice guy and easy to work with. He has all the tools to help your record be amazing. My uncle and I spent 4 days and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend going to dirt floor if you are looking to make a killer record paired with an amazing log cabin vibe 😎

Eric and Steve both did an amazing job recording Pat Stone & The Dirty Boots album. The cabin was a very beautiful laid back environment making it easy to relax and capture the feel we wanted for the album. It helps they also have phenomenal equipment and know haw to use it.

Dirt Floor is more than a recording studio. It is a place where your Sonic-Dreams can come true. If you have a song to sing and nothing more but your idea and will power, the song can become a Gem with the help and guidance, not to mention positive attitude and uncompromising professionalism of owner/producer Eric Michael Lichter and engineer extraordinaire, Steve Wytas. I say all of this, because it has not happened just once, but for four full-length albums with my band, Babes NYC. We keep coming back to Dirt Floor because we palpably Feel the Freedom to create our music in an uninhibited and nurturing space, surrounded by the power of Nature. This is unparalleled elsewhere. Dirt Floor is as back to basics as you want to get, or as high-tech via post-digital realms as you'll ever need to be. I recommend it super-high, and of course I'll be coming back for more. I'm sure I'll see you there. Dirt Floor is, for any musician, simply The Best.
